Welcome to the Sin Aesthesia LJ. This journal is specifically for those individuals involved in the performance of Sin Aesthesia (an Estrogen Pool production in association with the Penis Gallery). If you're reading this you're involved in the show in one aspect or another. This is open to posting for all so any comments, cusswords, suggestions or questions about the show are welcome here. The production staff will use this journal to communicate to the performers (i.e. rehearsals, ideas, deadlines and any other pertinent information regarding Sin Aesthesia).

What is Sin Aesthesia?

It's a show evoking the aspect of the 19th/early 20th century vaudville/traveling sideshow with a few twists and turns if not some blatant mockery. Dancing girls, fire eaters/dancers, strong men, circus freaks, geeks and a slew of performers all come together under the strict eyes of their ringmasters/barkers Madame Cherie and her consort Rooster. Things don't always go as planned. On any given night, the audience has opened up to one page in a long-running (dare I say, neverending?) story and they catch a glimpse of this dark carnival, this twisted tribe of people at their most human. Oppulant dance numbers, hilarious comedy sketches, daring fire dances all frame the story of the moment...of a jilted lover? an innocent woman being wooed by the charms of this life? a strong scotsman with frilly lace under his kilt?
